Vogelîon holds the massive honor of being the only remaining Tarsin colony from before the Old Coalition. Its origins are lost to the sands of time, but the Archive has pieced together enough information to know that it was reached through the ether when the beacon network was still centralized to Tarsis, which makes Vogelîon home to human life for at least 16,000 years, if not more. Its population is only second to Tarsis itself, and at certain times in the past has even exceeded that of Tarsis. Some of the best preserved Old Coalition relics are found on Vogelîon; even buildings from that age survive to be in use today. It too has an underworld, but because of the lack of damage to Vogelîon during the Cataclysm, it is thought that the populace negotiated a settlement with the demon-constructs. As to what that settlement was, no one knows.
There have been several occasions when Vogelîon served as the Throne-World of the Empire, including during the final days of Sîn-Ûshurôs VIII after he lost Tarsis to the Shadow Emperor.
